Born on the mainland and raised in Korea, Dr. Jang earned her DVM at Michigan State University in 2012. She practiced in Michigan and Arizona before making Hawaii home. Her talents lie in advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry. She has four beloved 4-legged children — two with her now, and two on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
Born and raised in Colorado, Dr. Hummel earned her DVM from Kansas State University in 2010. She followed her Navy husband through South Carolina and California before landing in Hawaii. She enjoys internal medicine and educating clients on preventative care. She has 3 dogs, a cat, 3 chickens, and fish.
A 2025 graduate of Atlantic Veterinary College, Dr. Black grew up in Florida and is thrilled to be in Hawaii. Her professional interests include oncology, exotic medicine, and preventative care. Outside of work, she loves paddleboarding, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with her rabbit, Reagan.
With over 25 years of experience, Christina is passionate about animal care and educating pet owners. She graduated from the University of Oregon and St. Petersburg College. Outside work she enjoys sailing, hiking, gardening, and traveling.
Born and raised on O'ahu, Kelly has spent many years in small animal practice. When she's not at HI Pets she's hanging out with her furry, feathered, and creepy-crawling creature family.
Heather earned her Veterinary Technician degree in 1996 and worked in the field for nearly 20 years before living and working in various parts of the world. She came to Hawaii with her family in 2022 and joined HI Pets in 2023.
Originally from San Diego, Sienna completed the Veterinary Technician Program at Windward Community College in 2024. She has been in the veterinary field for 4 years and has two dogs — Kamylah and Novalie — and a cat named Christoff.
Born and raised on Oahu, Joleen has always been drawn to animals. She began gaining experience in veterinary medicine in 2021. In her spare time she loves to read, travel, and spend time with her dog and fiancé.
Born and raised on Oahu, Dallas is currently studying biology at UH Manoa. He has always been fascinated by animals and loves snorkeling and watching marine life in his free time.
Born and raised on Oahu, Amber is attending UH Manoa for Animal Science and plans to go to veterinary school. She has always loved animals and is learning more every day.
From Makakilo, O'ahu, Kelsie is studying Animal Science at UH Manoa on her way to vet school. She loves the gym, going to the beach, and her furbaby Kya.
Originally from Florida, Hailey trained horses competitively for 14 years and has a passion for fostering dogs and cats. She enjoys hiking, reading, and teaching her pup new tricks.
Born and raised on Oahu, Evan is studying Animal Sciences at UHM with a pre-vet focus. She cares for dogs, a cat, rabbit, fish, chickens, and sheep. She enjoys free diving, art, and exploring nature.
A Mililani native, Sharon has been happily married for 36 years and served on the Neighborhood Board. She has a deep love for animals and is actively involved in Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts.
Born and raised on O'ahu, Marissa has 10+ years in veterinary administration and loves connecting with clients and their pets. She has two daughters and a household full of fur babies.
Originally from the West Side of Kauai, Mary has lived on Oahu for over 20 years. She loves spending time with family, going to the beach, and watching the sunset.
Born on Oahu and raised in Hawaii Kai, Jolie brings 12 years of management experience plus a background as a Veterinary Technician and HR/Accounting professional. She has twins and an adopted fur baby named Toa.
